background and beginnings

Rödja, at the Christian registry Ruggero, was born in 1987 in Ciriè, a small town in the Turin hinterland. From a young age, he shows a marked passion for music, which leads him to explore different genres and develop a unique sound that melts rock, pop, dub reggae and experimental electronic.

takes his first steps as a vocalist on the Torinese cult evening and comes to attend the most important festivals such as Reload Music Festival, Holy Fusion.

musical career

In November 2017, his collaboration with the Reload Music Festival leads him to the signature with the homonymous record label, in partnership with Sony Music Italia. It is in this period that his Side Project "Angry Lön" was born, through which he begins to experiment with EDM sounds, ranging from Dubstep to hardstyle, passing through the trance and Drum'n'bass, keeping texts influenced by the Ragamuffy, Hardocore rap.

Evolution and collaborations

In 2018, Rödja publishes the summer single "PAra PA" in collaboration with the Roman producer Sam Burst. The track, characterized by a Latin Wave rhythm, obtains appreciation, including a preview mention on M2O by DJ Provenzano. The following year, the EP "Angry Lön - Cosmic Raggi", followed by the single "flavor of Jack" featuring the Turin rapper Rayden, comes out. 

awards and successes

in February 2020, Rödja public "Icaro", an explosive mix of Drum'n'Bass, reggae and rock guitars, which today exceeds 100,000 streaming on Spotify. In the same year, he published "Hardcore" together with Babaman a strong song that is called an inna to music.

2020 is also characterized by the Arezzo Wave contest where the Best Piedmont project wins and performs at the Ariston Theater during the Sanremo Rock final. 

in June, releases the single "Muevello" in collaboration with the DJ Chris Wilde.

Recent collaborations and productions

in 2021, Rödja signs for the Bagana B-District Music label, with which it publishes the singles "Valhalla" and "Everest", both produced by Neroargento. "Everest" represents an introspective journey, addressing themes of self-scope and resilience.
